Melissa McMillan, 46, of Fairfield, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening after police were called to the home for a domestic dispute, said Lt. Robert Kalamaras.
When police arrived they found McMillan, who had been drinking for hours, yelling and refusing to leave the house. She also threatened to kill a family member who lived in the home, Kalamaras said.
McMillan, who is on probation for another crime, is being held in lieu of $500 bond.
